Fiery Furnace Forge is now stocking NEW 1045 Steel in a wide selection of sizes!
1045 is a water-quench, medium carbon steel. This is the same steel I make all of my hammers out of and it's great stuff.
This listing is for FOUR (4) billet of 2" diameter round stock measuring at about 4" long
Each billet weighs
approximately
3 pounds 8 ounces each.
(Please note: We mark and
center punch the center of our billets so that they are ready for forging. Billets may or may not be center punched when shipped.)
**Length dimension is nominal with a .125" tolerance!**
